Giardini - the Biennale Gardens
in these gardens the Biennale is held every two years. On this pictures, you can
see the Scandinavian Pavilion (slightly over exposed) which hosts the works of the artists from Finland, Sweden and
Norway. Next to it you can see the Danish Pavilion and on the opposite side the
pavilion of Russia and Venezuela are located.
Trees are not really easy to find anywhere on this island. So the Giardini/Gardens
are actually the only really green Green - and that makes them especially important
for the local people of Venice.
